What is WeConnectVolturno?
Who are we?
WeConnectVolturno is a project born from the collaboration between the IDA Evening Course at the Vincenzo Corrado Institute of Higher Education and the Pro Loco Castelvolturno APS to respond to the challenge of "EPALE Edu Hack 2025. Citizenship Paths to Facilitate Access to Local Services." The idea stems from the need to facilitate access to digital services essential for active citizenship in the Castel Volturno area, characterized by strong multiculturalism and socioeconomic and digital fragility.
The goal is to create a "Community Digital Help Desk," using a dedicated space on the Pro Loco Castel Volturno website to achieve the following primary objectives:
Increase digital literacy for access to school, municipal, and national services;
Distribute digital citizenship tips;
Enhance the cultural and historical heritage of Castel Volturno through digital tools.
The project was welcomed by EPALE, the Electronic Platform for Lifelong Learning in Europe, promoted by the European Commission and managed in Italy by the Ministry of Education and Merit to support initiatives that promote lifelong learning and active citizen participation.
